Message from the past…

I do believe that there are so many cherished words of those who have come before us…those with a strong and amazing message that when you first hear can even bring a tear to your eye.

The Essenes in the Egyptian Desert wrote:

You split me and you tore my heart open &
Filled me with your LOVE.

You poured your Spirit into mine
I knew you as I know myself.

My eyes are radiant with your Light.
My ears delight in your music.
My nostrils are filled with your fragrance.
My face is covered with your dew.

You have made me see all things shining,
You have made me see all things new.

You have granted me perfect peace
And I have become like PARADISE!

What a beautiful poem that sends a strong message of what it is to feel the love of the Universe/God/Spirit…we all should have that much love pouring into and out of us!!!

Thank you, Sharla. I loved the poem. I heard first in a Deepak Chopra seminar on Conciousness. Can you imagine what the world would be like if we reminded ourselves that this sort of ecstasy is possible?

I do know what it’s like because I read this ever so often to keep it fresh in my consciousness…the ironic thing is this bliss is in the right here and now, it’s only the constructs of the monkey mind that hide it.
