Running NEKID in the Rain

Ok, so first off it’s not raining right now and I’m certainly not nekid (and yes I like the misspelling of that word because it looks like it sounds coming out of my mouth)…but I do have a point here.

As kids it was no big deal to run around naked or have missed matched clothes even in our every day life…FOR MOST ANYWAYS, there might be some exception to this.

However, in nature we see that creatures are comfortable in their own skin, and at birth and as young children we are too…but somewhere along the lines as a human race (minus the native tribes tucked away in the jungle) we get so concerned with our bodies being something to hide with clothing, glasses, makeup, etc…how did this happen?  WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?  Why do people have an issue now with public breastfeeding but accept that giving an infant FORMULA is somehow more acceptable-when no one has a lawsuit again cows feeding in public?

There is a natural balance in life and I think that in finding more peace in our lives we will, metaphorically, have to strip down to what’s really natural…NO, I don’t think that you should go streaking through the mall right now.  But at the same time I no I’m not the only one that when it rains would love to just run nekid int he rain…feeling the natural water drip on my hair and wash away the dirt, dripping down my face and on my lips so I can drink some of God’s great nectar.

Water is natural, our bodies are natural, and somehow most people are more concerned with the tag of their clothing and making sure their outfit is trendy than they do with staying in harmony with Mother Nature (I’m just as guilty as the next don’t get me wrong).

Inching My Way

Do I think in my lifetime that running around nekid will somehow be “normal”?   NO, I don’t think it will.  But at some point I do feel personally, I have to inch my way, every day, to finding more balance with nature and my way of living.  To make sure that even if it’s a baby step of keeping peace and harmony with my existence and the natural beauty around me, that will be good enough.

That I will have some part in keeping nature “in tact” so to speak…from recycling, to not over using, over consuming, picking up random pieces of litter that aren’t mine will somehow help if only in the slightest way.

And maybe one day, when I have my farm and the trees and only God can see I will RUN AROUND NEKID IN THE RAIN and enjoy just B-E-I-N-G about of nature!
